LICS has a well organized and streamlined structure to provide the best possible service to its clients. Our clear priority is a focus on our educational staff and well organized administration to cope with the future trends and requirements in the educational sector. Support staff is kept at a minimum level and all services not belonging to the core functions of the institution are outsourced.

Employment Opportunities
Lusaka International Community School is a vibrant and lively school with an international flair embedded in a warm and welcoming Zambian setup. Staffing from more than 12 countries ensure an advanced and continually progressing development in all sections of the school. LICS provides high quality education to the international and local community and is recruiting on an annual basis qualified, experienced and dedicated staff members. LICS employes locally and overseas hired teachers. International experience is a strong advantage, as is experience in teaching the Cambridge Programme (from Primary to Middle Secondary and ideally up to Upper Secondary).

What is expected as well?

  • All teaching staff must be fully qualified.
  • All teaching staff must have an excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • A high value is placed on previous successful experience in the classroom, and in particular prior experience with the Cambridge International Programme (for Primary and/or Secondary staff) and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for the Early Years Department.
  • LICS seeks teachers who are committed to teaching as a career, and who wish to develop their professional skills to the highest possible level.
