DAY VISITS AND RESIDENTIAL TRIPS
Back to Photos and videos
The objectives of the trips and visits organised by Lusaka International Community School are that students would::
- be curriculum led, based on work that has been or will be covered in the school curriculum.
- be safe and risk free, or with a manageable level of risk.
- Be enjoyable and educational. Students should have fun and enjoy themselves but the overriding aim is that the experience should be educational.
- add value to the participants.
- Each student should benefit personally, socially and emotionally, in one or all of these ways.
- Be compulsory for all students, however, as these trips incur a fee, some students may be exempt.
- Students may instead come to school and work on a project set or attend a class.
