Secondary School

With over 100 students, the Secondary School is known for it's friendly and caring atmosphere along side a positive learning environment.  We have an international body of staff who deliver an educational programme based on the Cambridge International Curriculum.

SECONDARY SCHOOL - 11 to 16/17 years The secondary school consists of five academic years, from Year 7 to Year 11. All students study English Language and Literature, Mathematics, French, Science, Information Technology and Physical Education. Art, Literature, History, Geography and Music are compulsory subjects in Years 7 to 9 and optional thereafter; Business Studies is offered in Years 9, 10 and 11.

A programme of Personal and Social Education which introduces topics such as health, personal relationships, study skills and careers guidance is followed by all students. The complete programme ends in Year 11 with the examinations of the International GCSE (see examinations).

We treat each student as an individual and help, guide and support them in their learning and social development. In Year 10, students are committed to community service and work experience. All Students attend residential field trips enabling them to experience the country in which they live.

Year 10, students choose their options for the 2-year IGCSE course. For further details please consult the IGCSE Handbook.
